I'm sure most people are running Windows 7 now and have tried the XP and virtual PC mode.

I'm just installing windows 7 onto a virtual PC and am not sure whether it's the virtual PC software, or the fact im only at installation stage, but it's this small on my 1920x1200 second display.

That's windowed mode and this is full screen mode

Any ideas why it's sooo small and thats in full screen mode?

i don't use virtual pc (spit :p) but i'm guessing it requires software/drivers to be installed in the guest OS on the desktop just like vmware tools so it can go fullscreen. during setup, this obviously isn't possible.

The virtualised XP mode is largely pointless outside of the business world imho. It's there for bespoke applications that refuse to run in W7, I see little point to it for the home user.
