Currently I've got Vista 64 installed on an old 76gb wd raptor with another drive for storage. I was thinking of replacing the raptor with a bigger drive, probably a http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-226-WD unless someone can recommend anything better for a similar price?

Would it be worth buying Windows 7 now and using that as my OS instead of the Vista 64 I already have?
Also, would it be possible to install Windows 7 on the new drive but also keep the raptor, and choose to boot off that if i wanted to?

windows 7 is worth buying now if you can get hold of a preorder as its drastically reduced in price at the moment.

you can install have multiple OSs on a PC, you just select which one you want to boot into during posting

vista 64 is fine unless you can definately spot somthing in windows 7 thats a must have

if you want two os's definately keep them on separate drives and be careful if you remove one as that can upset the boot process

windows 7 install should spot your vista 64 installation on setup and allow the dual setup on 2 drives
