Windows 7 & Vista Slow to logon

Hi all,

Can anyone help me troubleshoot Windows 7 & Vista Slow to logon. Both operating systems sit on the O Welcome screen for ages when logging in either on the network or off the network.

Yeah, Vista does that on my work laptop, Win 7 is faster though.

what do you have loading on startup? my laptop started doing it and running msconfig i disabled some programs that i did not need and improved the situation, i found my blackberry software had added itself to the startup and caused a mega slow down

fixed my issues for this by creating a new profile !! try it and test it
