As per title.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on the system in my signature.
Auto system updates I noticed wanting a restart a couple of days ago.
So let windows apply its updates at shutdown.
Returned today. It sat stuck in an applying updates loop for well over 30 minutes. So I restarted, safe mode, recovery to the last update. For some reason only one available, last update on 11th.
So apply, PC does its thing, I log in, now I'm stuck in a continuing Welcome screen.
No issue logging into safe mode. But cannot get access normally.
Is anyone aware of any possible issues caused by last W7 update? PC was fine before that update.
Oh wait, this time after a stupid long wait I am greeted with a blank black screen and a cursor.
Edit, can open task manager. Running CTRL/ALT/DEL allows me to restart but same long wait watching the blue circle next to Welcome but no pc usage.
