My Computer, when booted up, takes about 10-20 seconds or so, usually when starting Internet Explorer, but can be anyother program as well displays a blank white screen and states "Protected mode off"...
The only thing I can do to get out of it is press the Windows key on my keyboard but it's really bugging me now.
I've done some googling and found most people mentioning Incredimail being a potential cause - after removing Incredimail entirely I still get the same problem.
I have scanned for spyware/ viruses and the computer has come back clean.
I've also reset Internet Explorer to default settings with no affect.
Any ideas?
