Recently set up my pc on living room tv which is a Panasonic viera ax902 55" ultra 4K. Was using a 27" iyama monitor which was working fine.

It's showing the bios and sometimes the Windows logo then nothing
Just refreshing which hdmi port its run through. I've tried playing around in the tv settings but getting no joy!

Hope it's just something simple. I'm thinking maybe my graphics card can't support the resolution of the tv? It's an old card ..leadtek 8800gt 512mb ddr3

Please help! ;)

A quick Google suggest that 2560x1600 is the max for a 8800GT.

Max Resolution Details DVI: 2560 x 1600 / VGA: 2048 x 1536 at 85Hz

Might be time for an upgrade with a DP or uprated HDMI. (GTX 750 Ti)

Thought so thanks for your help

Trying to figure out if Intel onboard graphics will display on tv
Intel HD 4400 max res HDMI 1.4 3200 x 2000 @60hz

Thinking of upgrading to a newer Intel build for a Htpc and would prefer no noisey graphics cards if possible
