Hi, I have been running windows 7 x64 since the RC came out earlier this year and i have had no issues what so ever, until now.

I have found that my system upon boot will intermittently boot with only 1 core enabled/showing in task manager or device manager and the performance goes down the toilet, a fresh reboot usually sorts this out but i have no idea what is causing this?

I know it's effectively still in testing etc but has anyone else had this issue and know a fix as a search on google is not turning up much!

Thanks in advance,
Dave.

Running said chip on a Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 until last week without problems and now running a 955BE on a Gigabyte GA-MA590FXT-UD5P and haven't seen the same problem there either. Seems quite an odd quirk to show up.

What board, BIOS etc and have you reinstalled since you've seen this issue?

I'm running a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H AMD 780G (not sure on the bios revision, i will check that when i get home) and no i haven't tried to re-install (yet) as it's not a major issue but a down right annoying one sometimes :)

Dave.
