I installed Windows 7 on my pc over my Vista partition. That was a few weeks ago, I needed to install XP as i needed it for some software problems. I created a partition on my C drive and ran the setup. It booted straight into XP - no problem. I isntalled the drivers etc and then used EasyBCD to restore the MBR so i could access Windows 7 and xp.

Now the Boot manager displays the option for both OS's and Windows 7 works. But the XP drive won't boot as there is no NTLDR. I can always Uninstall the MBR and boot straight into Xp again, but thats a pain.

So does anyone know how i can get it to boot both from the boot menu?

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention i did that, Windows 7 disk couldn't see the XP install and only the Windows 7 one. I was quite surprised at how little information there is to do this on the web, and most if it says to use EasyBCD which didn't work for me!! But i will try it again and see :)
