I recently bought Windows 7 retail version but havent installed it yet as i wanted to check if it will work with the games/programs i use in either 32bit or 64bit?

The second question is if i install W7 on my pc then upgrade in next few months some parts eg mainboard/cpu/memory can i transfer the licence or will it stil work?

Anyway these are the most used applications on my pc (most recent versions) atm.

Games:
Fallout 3 plus FOMM/GECK
Gears of War
Lost Planet
Street Fighter 4
Resident Evil 5
Dawn of War 2
and steam/gamesforwindows

Programs:
Kaspersky 2009
Vuze
Winamp
Photoshop
Firefox
Nero
Itunes
Stardock

Thanx in advance.

Will all be fine.

If you buy retail, you can move it between PCs. If you buy OEM, it will be tied to the motherboard on which it is activated.

Good good wasnt to sure lol as i know when i tried vista 64bit there was an issue with KAV and few other miner things not quite working as well as they should.

There should be an update on the Kaspersky site you can download.

Yes and it is massively bugged, as is the fix patch they launched to fix it.
Kaspersky do not have a product which works with W7 yet, it'll work on some machines, and grind others to a complete halt 30 minutes after launch. This is due to bugged rootkit detection which can't be switched off and kicks in 30 minutes after machine activation.

2009 version of Kaspersky won't install, 2010 new versions will and are bugged, to clarify.

I dunno, I've been running Kaspersky 6.0 MP4 for the past few days fine on two different workstations - one Windows 7 and one XP. If it is buggy I'll take your word for it, but it's been okay in my experience.

That business version.
Home user versison is Kaspersky 2010 ver9.0.0.736a
Which is buggy as hell and the first release version they said would work with W7, prior to that they provided no support.
