Windows 8.1 DSA Theory Test Issue

Hi I'm learning to get me C license and I brought and installed a theory test, the thing it it loads up fine, but when I go to test a mock test it just keeps coming up with this;

I have tried reinstalling it but to no luck.

Tried setting the *.exe properties to run in compatibility mode? Windows 7/Vista or one of the XP modes.

No luck with doing that man, still displays the same

right click and run as admin as well.

No luck with that "Neil" . Might try running a virtual XP machine and see if can get it working that way

Are there no updates available for it? My standard car one had a built-in updater which downloaded a bunch of updates.

There's no option that I can see to check for updates

I've installed XP using Hyper-V and the program works fine on that, so guess I'll just use this way. Thanks
