I have a little great ASUS laptop that has windows 8 pre-installed on it, but anyway, I opted for the free update to windows 8.1 just for the sake of it, soon as the years warranty is up on the lappy I will be installing windows 7 on it quickly lol (hate windows 8).
Anyways, I had a look at disk management and notice that there is 5 partitions, I was thinking what the hell man ????? I mean I can understand maybe 1 extra for restoring the system, but to have 5 I found strange man
They are all different sizes, but whats bothering me is the only hard drive that is in the lappy is a sata old style (not an SSD) and its only 320GB sized drive, so although that's plenty just for a little backup machine, its not a massive drive.
Does anyone know what I am talking about with this windows 8.1 and it having 5 partitions in total and why etc, also it would be handy to know if or how I can just get them all into the main windows drive and maybe just the extra 1 for the backup, that I can understand, but 5, wowwwwwwww , lol !!!!!
Appreciate any input on this, thanks
