Windows 8.1 SpeedFan Autostart

I created a scheduled task for speedfan however my PC starts so fast that the speedfan service runs after the task has run which gives this error:

If I logout and login again speedfan runs fine since the service has already previously started. Hope this makes sense.

Anyone managed to get SpeedFan to autostart correctly in Windows 8.1?

Have you tried to delay the start by about 10 seconds? When I used SpeedFan a few years ago, I had to delay the start to get it to work properly with Windows 7.

Run it as a scheduled task on startup with full privileges:

Make the trigger 'at log on'.

Delaying the task by 5 seconds works perfectly!

Strange that just the scheduled task didn't work, mine's been like that for years (since W7) and apart from crashing every so often (once a month, if that after sleep) for some reason it's absolutely fine.
