Not the same as the well renowned "Windows 8 won't sleep", but we've got a strange tablet issue.
Basically, corporate devices dial up through a VPN (Cisco Anywhere Connect) through an ASA Firewall. The tablets in question, when not on WiFi use a USB to Ethernet dongle.
When the device sleeps, the VPN does not reconnect automatically, even though it's set to.
I'm guessing the USB port is sleeping too and that is doing something funky.
I remember in previous versions of windows, (or maybe it was a 3rd party app), that you could set the sleep state of individual devices, i.e., "don't let this sleep when the machine sleeps". It's how we control things like WOL nowadays.
Any ideas?
