windows 8.1 "tile mail" - more than 1 IMAP account?

Hello

I am setting up windows 8.1 and have set up Outlook.com in the mail tile. I then added one of my IMAP accounts - worked OK.

Then I tried to add another IMAP account - there doesn't seem to be a facility to do this - only web type accounts are listed in the add accounts - there is no IMAP entry - only gmail facebook etc.

Is this right or am I missing something?

Advice please - web search has not revealed any results to help me.

if you want to access multiple accounts at once, use a proper mail client, not this mickey mouse modern app crap.

I'm sure that there's an other option in the add account section (I'd have to check this with the mail app on my laptop which I'm currently not using) on the mail app.

There was - then I added an IMAP account and it's not there now!

Well I have just checked again - and the option to add further IMAP accounts has returned - peculiar !!

Yeah, I wasn't convinced it was a known limitation of the mail app but I didn't comment because I couldn't test it for sure. You can pin individual folders to the start screen too.

Yep you can accounts and access them easily, the outlook app is very good.
