I have a alienware m17x r4 running windows 8 , it has a 3d display NVidia 680m gfx card.
recently for no reason I am getting a DPC watchdog violation and blue screen. ramdon restarts. I have reinstalled windows etc but still remains.
The most concerning however is I cant install any of the newer NVidia drivers, well I can but it kills the laptops display if I install NVidia 320.xx drivers the display just goes blank. However if I plug in the hdmi out I get the display no problem at all on the tv . projector etc , what could the problem be ?
