Windows 8 Backup Question

Im currently using SSD Caching with 128GB SSD attached, using ISRT (Intel Smart Response Technology)

I've recently done a re-install and would like to perform a backup image using in built windows 8 backup.

If I backup an image, after I restore will it still work fine with SSD Caching?

Would appreciate anyone who has tried this before so I can confirm everything works as it should.

thanks.

I've since solved my issue since yesterday,

1. use Ezsetup to disable any SSD Caching and Rapid Start Technology
2. now do your backup
3. after backup re-enable

however if I do crash or have a virus and for some reason unable to boot, I must press CTRL I on bootup during the raid screen, delete the SSD raid volume only.

then restart and re-image the drive but still keeping the BIOS in Raid mode.
also you may need to disable manually intel rapid start technologies (disable/enable) within the BIOS.
