Windows 8 - Classic Shell (Windows 7 Style)

Hey all,

Wasn't sure if this has been posted, but some nice fellows have come up with a way for you to utilize all the new goodies of windows 8, without the CARP of Metro(or whatever they want to call it now).

its called classic shell and can be had from here http://sourceforge.net/projects/classicshell/files/

You can even disable Metro all together!

Can this save windows 8??? For myself, this might just persuade me to at least buy the upgrade and test it out...

I must say I do rather like the idea behind this shell.

Now that the RTM version is available, it might even persuade me to have another look at Windows 8!

Are there any 'downsides' to it, which anyone is aware of?

Not that i have found, installed absolutely fine, works as described!

Nvm, it seems its not there, try creating a shortcut.
