I've got a new SSD from a competition win and Im trying to clone my current SSD onto it.

Im using EaseUS free to do the cloning, which has worked for me in the past when I got my first SSD.

When I plug in just the cloned drive, it's not recognised as boot media, any ideas?

do you have any USB hard drives or any CDs in a CD\DVD drive if you have one?

check that the new SSD is set to the first boot device in to bios as It might be trying to boot from something first other than the new SSD

Ive got a USB drive available. Nothing else is plugged in, just the bare essentials.

^^Sounds about right. Try that first, failing that maybe give Clonezilla a go...

Ill give that a go now.
