Not sure to put this in the graphics card section or here, but with eyefinity 14.4 the latest drivers i believe or at least standard non beta ones. But when in W8 after the PC has been off for a while, or overnight ect, All the desktop shortcuts are very large, and the taskbar shortcuts are tiny, also the windows button menu is also very large, However the resolution is correct in the display and the web pages are the correct size.
This all goes to normal on a restart, but it means i got to boot twice.
This didnt happen on windows 7 which i had to roll back to for a while, However it did also on my previous W8 install.
Am i also missing something on another issue, though not major, but a bit irritating or is this how its supposed to work ?
When in eyefinity like also when i did in surround when i was using nvidia, I often only use two screens, and turn the third on only for gaming.
In nvidia surround this would not happen, but in eyefinity you here like a windows disconnection sound as you switch the monitor on, then everything gets compressed on to one screen for a few moments, before the other two screens set themselves and your good to go. Is this normal, I notice now this happens on both cards from AMD i have had, and also happens on W7.
For the record I fixed my key issue only yesterday, by rolling all the way back to W7,and upgrading to 8 then to 8.1, This way it didnt ask me to activate with the new W8 key, and by passedf all the activation issues i was having, at least its stayed activated now for a day
