Hey, is there anyone here running dual monitors with Widnows 8 having a problem when running a flash video or video a player on the second screen?
I am having this strange problem, whenever i run a video on my second screen and use my main screen for browsing etc, it feels like my main screen is being capped in fps?
When this happens i check my event viewer and i am getting event id 500 which is telling me that the Desktop Window Manager responsiveness has degraded. This happens 100% everytime i use my second screen to watch a flash video/stream or even normal video player such as VLC etc.
As soon as i minimize the video on the second screen i get the fluidity of Windows 8 back again on my main screen.
Apparently i read this is a Windows 8 thing, where its designed to save power for battery powered devices by limiting frames on programs that don't need it? I am not sure about that, but i am at a loss to why this is happening.
