Mine just sits there. Left it for 1 hr?
This was an upgrade from Win 7 ultimate.
Is there anything I can do/check?

Shank.. It only says not responding when I try to end task it. It has been cancelling for the last hour?? Done a sfc /scannow. replaced corrupted files. But I cannot read the logs.
need admin... only way to stop it is to reboot!

No you got it right. It only says not responding when I try to cancel it in task manager. Otherwise it says running.

Tried it at stock. The same. CPU z doesn't move from 1600ghz. if I open another web it goes up to 3400. But nothing happens with WEI...work on 7 no issues at all.

OK clean install and it works. 7.6 for 2500k @4.4 and 8.1 for 7950@880 XFD
