Saying there is no fix thread that I can see, i though i would create one for a problem I have just got after updating.
I have just updated from windows 7 to windows 8 pro, all was fine.
I have just done all the updates restarted, and now when at the start screen and I click all apps it just goes to a gray screen and stays there no apps are shown. There is nothing there so I can not access my installed programs from there, which is a big pain.
Any help on how to get this back working again. The only thing I have installed new other than updates from when it was working is sharkey codec pack.
I have tried a un install reinstall of that with no joy.
