Windows 8 info

Hi All I am after some info If you want to put Windows 8 on your p.c & Laptop do you need 2 copies of the OS or will you be able to run the same copy ?
 
Two copies.

I take it they allready have windows installed?
If so on the 26th MS will have win8 upgrade (download only) for 24.99. So will only cost you a fifty note.

yeah i have windows 7 installed on both but i thought an upgrade version of windows isn,t as good ? i always put full versions on my p.c ?:confused:
 
Why isn't it as good?
It's exactly the same, the only difference is you need a copy of windows, that you allready have.

There is no retail copy, they've done away with retail. It's upgrade or oem.

oh right i did read this rumour :) so what is OEM ? and i noticed one is 79.99 and the other is 49.99

Oem is design for system builders and home users who build their own pcs. oem does not require a previuse copy of windows.

Just wait for the Ms downlaod and save your self £25 per copy.

where will they sell the MS Download copy can,t see it on here ?
