"Windows cannot be installed on this disk. Setup does not support configuration of or installation to disks connected through a USB or IEEE 1394 port"

I have two 512GB SSD's in raid 0 on a GA-77X-UD5H

windows sees the 1TB raid disk "drive 0 unallocated space" but will not let me continue

Any suggestions? please...!

well that was dumb, I just noticed it cannot see SSD at all its a usb drive I did not notice was plugged in ill go to the dunces corner now... obviously need to use the "load drive" option to load the raid drivers... would delete thread if I could!

I didn't need any raid drivers for my install of windows 7 and it installed fine and saw one drive

make sure the sata ports are set to raid instead of achi or IDE.

when it boots it will ask you to create a raid volume (did on mine) once this is done you should be good to go to install the OS
