I have been having problems locating an download of Windows 8.
A family members laptop has developed a fault on start up. It can't boot into windows due to a possible HDD error, which windows can't fix on its own. I can get into the advanced boot options and have the option of Resetting / refreshing the computer although I would like to avoid this if possible.
I was hoping try to repair the fault using a DVD with a Windows ISO loaded onto it but I can't find an ISO file to use online.
The best I can find from MS is this one.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only
This however requires a product Key for Windows 8. For some reason (I have no idea why) there is no windows sticker on the laptop, yes I have checked under the battery.
Does anyone know of a way around this so I can repair the fault?
