Hi All,

Recently I've put together a PC and it works fine. However it randomly seems to turn itself on during the day every few days or so.

Any ideas what could cause this?

Is this from standby, or are you using a sleep/hibernation mode?

If the latter fire up an administrative command prompt and type:

powercfg -lastwake <enter>

Check for any form of overheating and your PSU.

Temps seem to be fine when in Windows.
The PSU itself is new, Corsair CX750 or something.

This is from completely being switched off (after a shutdown).

I've also noticed it randomly reboots then cycles on and off when it posts. It boots up fine after a while.

Check your "Wake-on LAN" settings for your network card in Device Manager. Untick "Allow this device to wake the computer" if ticked. Also, check your BIOS/UEFI settings for the WOL feature.

Failing that try another Power Supply.
