Windows 8 not starting - AHCI issue

I have installed win 8 on an SSD and had ACHI set in the BIOS. I flashed the BIOS and the machine then rebooted. I missed getting back into BIOS so the PC started in IDE mode which worked.

Now when I boot up with AHCI set I keep getting blue screens. How can I fix this?
