Windows 8 oddities.

I am getting odd things happening when writing messages like this but on other forums, thankfully OCUK is fine.

As this line of text has a space between it and the ones below by simply hitting enter to drop it down a line.

For some reason on other forums I use this does not happen as hitting enter does not drop the cursor down a line.

This is only happening on this Windows 8 laptop and not on my Win 7 desktop so I can only assume it is some kind of issue with it.

Can anyone help as to what it could be.

try chrome and see if you get same results

Yes it is IE10.

Try running the page in compatibility view if it gives you the option (a little broken page icon should appear in the address bar, click it)

I tried Google Chrome from the browser choice and it won't launch.
Tried Firefox and this just freezes without warning.

Not doing well am I.
