Windows 8 pro reinstall on new mobo

Hi guys I'm going from an Asus to msi board and was wondering if need to
Do a clean install or could I just remove asus stuff as the mobo is same chip set etc

If it's a clean install will it be activated ok

Personally I would do a clean install ever time. If you have an SSD and a usb stick - it only takes about 10 mins to do a full install anyway.

Cheers what I've done so far is a window's 8 reset which takes it back to original install

I would have been quicker just don't fresh install lol Doh
