windows 8 pro upgrade edition question?

Hi guys,

Sorry I couldn't find a definitive answer to this.

I have a few old PCs with xp installed that I am going to bin. They all have xp home licences on them, can I use one of them along with the windows 8 pro upgrade edition on a new setup?

I want to do a fresh install, will it just ask for the xp licence during install or does it require xp to be installed or a copy of the xp media?

They are probably xp home sp2 licences if that makes a difference.

You can do a clean install of Win8 upgrade edition without having to have a previous license.

1) Grab ISO (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=26101585&postcount=128)
2) Install using placeholder key
3) Activate using your upgrade key
