Windows 8 public beta?

I was invited to both the Vista and 7 betas and foolishly didn't take up the offer, and was wondering if Microsoft are planning to do it again this time round with 8 - of it if's perhaps already going on and I just didn't get invited!

Does anyone know if there's anywhere where we can sign up or register our interest to test?

If you just want to use it to play around why not just get the leaked versions?

Not sure how stable they are ATM, but beats waiting for a BETA invite
