I quite liked the Win8 Aero theme, wonder if there's a way to use it in Win7.

This is one of the things I love about the desktop part of Windows 8, the borders are thinner, and to me it feels "lighter". Glad they kept the translucent effect in as well.

You can make the borders thinner in Win7 too, if you go to Personalise, then Window Colour, then Advanced, then find Border Padding in the Item menu. If you set it to zero, you get thin borders on windows instead of the big chunky ones.

Obviously some parts can't be changed unless you apply a windows 8 transformation pack or something but then it will impact performance by a fair bit no doubt :rolleyes:
