Over the past 3 months I have been getting a message on boot up that Windows has loaded a temporary profile and that any changes made would be lost. Restarting has caused the PC to boot up normally. Its one of those niggly things that I know needs sorting but never got round to it. However, a family member logged on yesterday, got the temporary profile message and then (blissfully unaware) did about 3 hours work before saving. I can't find the file. Has it gone forever or is there a way to get round this? I will sort it now, but would like to get the work back if possible
