windows 8 & Touch Mouse

Hi All I,m just wondering does Windows 8 work ok with a Mouse or do you need to spend out on a Touch Mouse ? as i read its all geared up for touchscreen monitors

good to know thanks I don,t know why some reviewers scare people into saying you have to buy this product and that ! it makes me sooooo mad ! why not review the product and then say if you want to you can do this or that ha!
