Microsoft are not hanging around, with their offer on win 8 out already.

This isn't a win 8 upgrade for existing users of windows 7, this is for people purchasing a new PC between now and the win 8 launch so people are not put of from buying new machines in the mean time, Ms did the same for win 7.
