Over the weekend i've upgraded my system to windows 8 and have installed VLC player but i'm getting choppy/skipping sound when playing music and video files. This never happened to me before and all the files i've tried work fine in windows media player so it ain't the files. Any idea why this is happening, i've uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same.
