I just brought my Windows 8 laptop home from work and to my complete shock it connected automatically to my HOME wireless network. This is a brand new laptop I unwrapped a couple of days ago - its previously been nowhere nearly my house. The only thing that is linking it is that I sign in with my Microsoft account.
Are my previous wifi connections and passwords being stored in the cloud? Can anyone test this out? I've never seen a reference to this feature and Google isn't helping.
