Windows 98 firewall?

Posting this on a p233 with 96mb RAM & '98 SE!

I intend to use it purely as a web browser / e-mailer for my girlfriend, can anybody point me to a working but easy to use firewall wor Win 98 please? everything seems to be xp only.

Wouldn't it be easier to stick a lightweight linux distro on?

That aside I remember using Zone Alarm on my win 98PC, you could probably get a compatible version from www.oldversion.com

Zone alarm will kill that machine, given a choice I'd risk it on the web. If it's behind a NAT router it should be fine.

Its currently just hooked upto her Virgin cable box, tried Zonealarm & the machine is practically unuseable!

Surprisingly quick mind you just hooked up with no firewall browsing the web etc, I expect it to die imminently though!
