Hi,

Hope someone can help.

I've just changed e-mail providers, previously on Virgin Media but have now changed to Zoho Mail. My Microsoft account was all associated to only one e-mail address, the VM one. I've manged to changed it to Zoho Mail, however, when I go to 'Edit account info' by clicking on the link on the 'Your info' (Profile) screen I get a prompt to advise me to Verify my identity and it still shows my old VM e-mail address and not my new one Zoho one, as per below: -

You then have to click on the greyed out e-mail address to verify it in order to have a code sent to you. The trouble here is, is that it still askes for my VM one.

How do I change this so it asks for the Zoho one? I've removed all trace that I can see of the VM one and the Zoho is set to Primary.

Thanks in advance.

Closed thread as found out how to do this: -

How to I change Verification email address AFTER I've already changed the login email on my Microsoft Account...
- Please log into the security info page: https://account.microsoft.com/security
- Please select advanced security options > under the "Email a code" tab click the remove button to remove.
- Then re-adding a new email address by clicking the "Add a new way to sign in or verify" link then select the "email a code" option > enter a new email address.

Nice to see someone resolving their own problems on here. However you haven't closed the thread because I can still post in it. Also you can't close the thread on here unless it's MM. OR you ask a don to do it.
Thanks... Yes, I realised I couldn't close it after I had posted that.

If any Don would like to close the thread, I'd appreciate it :)
