Windows Activation after new HDD???

Ok so im running two 34GB RAPTOR's in RAID-0 but im hooked on FSX & running out of space. If i buy a new HDD & ghost the image accross do you think Vista 64-bit OEM will want activating???

FSX is 10GB, plus 13GB weather add-on and 25GB of ground images....

I wouldnt worry, its not going to activate, and even if it does. just requires a quick phone up...

Cant stand ringing up, does my head in. Was just wondering, that all. Been running Vista x64 since late Jan 07 when OCUK had it in.

Now ive got to decide on a good drive with lots of space but good performance. The Raptors may be old but in RAID-0 they still pack a punch.

If you are restoring an activated image then you will not have to activate (I think)
Samsung F1 750 GB or the Western Digital "Black" drives are both good.

Its an automated system and takes about 5 mins maximum... whats so bad about that?

I've replaced drives and never had problems reactivating online after a new install

Only time I have needed to reactivate is changing from RAID to single disc using my back-up image from Acronis.

I really don't know why people have so much of an issue with phone activation.
