Windows Activation

:mad:Machine was getting ready for a clean install so tonight i re installed windows 7 professional, went well until activation.

I tried the automated tel line entered details when prompted
"sorry we cannot activate your product, you maybe a victim of software piracy". The windows is genuine bought it on the high street, yet when i use the microsoft tool it validates ok??

Then the fun starts, i know i have 3 days then kaputt what do i do, there is no email or telephone support for product activation queries.

I honestly do have legit software xp/vista ult/win7 pro and ultimate and office. So out of desperation i installed vista - same thing will not activate seems like my product keys are blocked.
I have activated at least 6-10 times but i did not think there was a limit in place be darned if i'm going to buy another license key :mad:

Any ideas what i should do next ? Thanks in advance
 
There's a limit to how many times you can activate online I think, after that you have to phone up...

Quick kick with my google-fu and I find this number is apparently the one you call for activating Win7 via phone

Thank you for the input, that is the number i called to activate and the voice told me "we cannot activate your product you may be a victim of software piracy" there was no option to talk to a representative to explain the situation.
I have called microsoft uk 0844 800 2400 ...5 options the only one that applied to me was "activate your windows product" and that took me back to the automated phone activation line there is no option to talk to a representative.
Any suggestions greatfully received i just do not know what to try next :(

**Edit** I finally got hold of a representative on the above number they talked me through and shared the desktop, their tool for issueing new license keys is not working at the moment but they are going to call me back in the next hour with a new product key.
The fault apparently is mine because i have activated the software quite a few times what with blue screens/new hardware etc.
The help so far from them was very professional and accurate but theres definately a stricter regime in operation these days when it comes to activation, gone are the days when if your product would not activate you would be automatically put through to someone and they would sort it there and then.
So result in a way.....just waiting for my return phone call :)

Have you tried 0800 018 8354 and keep hitting 0, that should put you through to an activation agent.
 
Hi simulatorman thanks for that if i have a problem again i will try the repeatedly pressing 0 but for now it looks ok if they call me back with a new license key :)

**Edit** Nice one Microsoft they called me back within 20 mins with a new key and all is ok now :)
