They are different apps and different market places.
Really?
Wow I thought the metro store was one big store that crossed through to each platform, I thought that was the point in the big push to unify Windows?
Seems stupid that you can buy metro Angry Birds on Windows 8 then still need to buy metro Angry Birds on Windows Phone 8![]()
It's also similar to how iOS works. One purchase doesn't cover all devices, again due to screen res. for example
Angry birds Star Wars on iPhone is $0.99 where on ipad it's $2.99
However unlike iOS, purchase an app on either desktop or tablet and it can run on both devices.
I was under the impression the iPhone version of an app was standard decimation and all the iPad version was was in HD, and the standard version would work on the iPad, just not look as good.
It will work on the ipad, but you wouldn't use it, it looks utterly horrible.
On apple. You pay less if you only have ipad/iPhone.
But if you have iPhone, ipad and Mac, you. Pay more than w8 as you need three versions, compared to two.
If you did buy a game like angry birds from the app store for both a windows phone and tablet, would it sync your progress between the two?
