Welcome to 2016. BIOS and MBR are out. UEFI and GPT are the cool kids in town.

Before the motherboard and OS were separate. With UEFI installs they work together as a single unit. It's good.
 
First time you might've done an MBR install.

This time when booting from your windows installer you've selected the UEFI option.
