Windows CE Netbook & Wifi Dongle

I've been asked to look at someones laptop and 3G wifi dongle. Just picked it up and it turns out it's a netbook running WinCE. My instinct and a quick google says there's no chance of this working. Can anyone confirm, so I don't waste my time on the impossible?

Anyone any experience with 3G routers, which is my only suggestion on the cheap, such as the TP-Link TL-MR3220

I'm presuming they dont have or want a landline and suggesting that will be a no go option.

I wouldn't expect there to be any drivers for Windows CE and the 3G dongle. It's a struggle to find wifi cards compatible with Windows CE! When I had my old HP Windows CE device, I had to use an Orinoco Gold card to get wifi working.

If it's got built in wifi then a 3g mifi may be the easist option.
