Every time I switch on my PC the clock has reset itself back to some date in 2001 and the time to 11pm. I check the BIOS on start up and it displays the correct time/date.

How do I stop this happening?

Change the place where windows syncs the time from, and also download atomic world clock. I have it to sync every day and not every two weeks, which if iirc is what the default is.

If Automatic time synchronisation is enabled in Windows, disable it. Otherwise you might as well try enabling it :p
