Following on from my previous thread - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18590325

I bought the GT610 and installed it, only to get a code 37 error in device manager.

I've deleted all previous graphics card drivers, installed the latest drivers for the card I have direct from the NVIDA website and I'm still having the same problem.

The fan on the card spins and the monitor is plugged into the port on the graphics card, but the display is definitely running from the onboard graphics card with poor resolution.

When installing the drivers it says it's failed to install the .NET framework - could this be the problem?

I've also had some issues with Windows such as Windows Update not working and the clock is unable to automatically update itself. Could these issues be related to the graphics card issue?

Any help appreciated as I've run out of ideas.

If the clock in Windows isn't set correctly it can cause all sorts of bugs and issues. Whilst it might not help you out, it's the first thing I'd fix.

Click the time on the bottom right and select 'change time and date'. Firstly make sure the time and time zone is correctly set. Then click the 'internet time' tab at the top and select a different server and try updating.

I know from experience Windows will not update correctly if the time / zone aren't correctly set. I also know that if you have Intel Rapid Storage installed this can also cause headaches with Windows update.

Once you've got a fully updated Windows install then try installing the graphics card drivers
