Hi,
I tried to repair a windows installation because my belkin wireless drivers weren't working on windows, they were making it freeze when i tried to install them for some reason.
However, the repair failed and now windows wont start, and everytime i try to repair it again, installation just fails!
I fear i may have lots all of my data, including work files.
:(
can anyone help?
cheers

Best bet would be to remove the HDD and get it attached to another machine and check if that can see your important documents and files and back them up onto DVD and/or an external drive.

OcUK have a sharkoon thingy that will allow you to connect to the HDD by USB or set it up as a slave drive on another pc.

If it can't see the files then there's software out there that can recover partitions and deleted files. Some of them might be hit and miss. Demos of the software usually allow you to scan but not recover files.
