I'm having a bit of a problem with my current setup. It seems to go very glitchy (weird screen drawing problems) and programs start dying all over the shop. It can't be the GFX as I moved from onboard to 5750 a while back and it made no difference, plus I can run BitCoin GPU miner at full whack for hours and its fine.

However, anything CPU intensive (games, running Guitar Rig on full emulation, etc) and it seems to fall over. P95 will run for about 10 minutes then just closes itself (). To me, it seems like its either a crappy PSU - which is 450w, cheapo MATX job, or the CPU itself - Phenom X3 720. How can I figure out which one it is?

(FWIW I have memtested the ram solidly for a few hours with zero errors, so its not that).

It might be worth trying a fresh install, but can you test the system with a another PSU?

Also download HD Tune or HD Tach which can scan your HDD for any errors.
