Windows crashes when uploading pictures

Hi Folks,

I have a fairly new install of Win 7 64 and it keeps crashing everytime I try and upload pictures to for sale sites (ebay, gumtree etc) I can browse for the photos but as soon as I press upload the whole system freezes and I have restart.

It's the same for both IE and Firefox. I have a feeling it's something to do with the software used for the upload so I want to uninstall and reinstall but I don't know what it is. Is it Java, flash?? etc

Can anyone offer me any advice?

What ever the software that is included in the ebay page, on the create sale there is an upload section so it used software incorporated in the browser, I just don't know what it is.

just reintall both java and flash? neither is very big and at least then youll be on the latest versions. 10.1 beta of flash even has nvidia gpu acceleration, on the 196.21's

Do you have anything like AVG or Zonealarm on your system?

These both seem to cause daft issues
