Windows Defender (BETA 2)

Awesome, I read that it runs as a service providing real-time protection - which at least saves me (forgetting) having to run it every weekend. Couple of questions..

Does it have an icon in the system tray all the time?
What is the resource usage like? (not another norton!?)
Will it conflict with NOD32?

Thanks peeps :)

No, there's no system tray icon.
It uses quite little resources, 4,900k mem usage atm.
I'm using NOD32 with it right now and haven't come across any problems so far.

It's integrated into Vista, so we can hope it'll continue to be free for those on XP too.
I hope it is because Windows AntiSpyware is one of the best antispyware programs i have come across as it does it's job so well and judging by these first couple of days of using Windows Defender, i think it will also be a great little app. It'll be a shame if microsoft start charging for it.

I got that at first, but then it corrected itself.

My laptop downloaded an update for it off of windows update. Maybe have a look on there.
